Any physical person wishing to participate in the Draw must register using their own Milano Cortina 2026 account to the Milano Cortina 2026 Official Ticket Website. With reference to the Paralympic Games only, Milano Cortina 2026 reserves the right to create, for a limited time window of 24 hours - from 5 March 2025 at 10:00am CET to 6 March 2025 at 9:59am CET - prior to the general sale to the public, a sale process of a limited number of Tickets that will be reserved for Visa cardholders.
If the purchase process has not been finalized by the Purchaser by the end of the Timeslot provided, and/or the payment is refused, the concerned purchase will be cancelled and the order of Ticket(s) and/or Pack(s) will not be taken into account. Milano Cortina 2026 will not be held liable in any way whatsoever for such a cancellation. It is the Purchasers’ responsibility to ensure that they are in possession of an accepted payment method as specified on the Milano Cortina 2026 Official Ticket Website and have sufficient funds for the purchase.
Milano Cortina 2026 reserves the right to change the Tickets prices at any time, with the understanding that price charged will be based on the rates in effect at the time of the order.
3.7 Processing fees
When placing the order via the Milano Cortina 2026 Official Ticket Website, Tickets are charged at the ticket prices applicable. The Ticket price, which would cover any Ticket transaction credit card processing fees (“Face Value”), is inclusive of obligatory Italian Value Added Tax (VAT) on the day of purchase. A three percent (3%) transaction service fee on the total Face Value will be added to support Milano Cortina 2026’s ticketing system administration costs. Additional products made available to the Purchaser when placing the order may be subject to additional costs. Should any Ticket be cancelled for any reason, subject to the terms herein, such transaction service fee or price paid for additional options will not be reimbursed. For the avoidance of doubt, in the event of reimbursement as per the terms herein, only the Face Value of the Ticket will be reimbursed.
3.8 Allocation of Sessions and seating - Distribution of Tickets
Before any Tickets are issued, Milano Cortina 2026 will send, after full payment has been confirmed, a confirmation of the allocation of the Ticket(s) and/or Pack(s) to the Purchaser by e-mail to the electronic address indicated by them at the time of the order. The Purchaser and/or the Ticket Holder is solely responsible, and Milano Cortina 2026 declines all responsibility in case of error or invalidity of the contact details and in particular in the Purchaser and/or the Ticket Holder’s e-mail address.
Tickets will be issued in digital format only (QR Code or any substituted technology). Ticket Holders will therefore be required to have a mobile device that is in working order and sufficiently charged in order to be able to present their Ticket. Tickets will be released by the Milano Cortina 2026 Official Ticket Website on the date set by Milano Cortina 2026 and made available on the Ticketing App or by any other means, if applicable.
Therefore, as a general rule, no paper Tickets will be issued by Milano Cortina 2026.Should circumstances arise (including but not limited to, health, fraud or security risks), Milano Cortina 2026 reserves the right to modify the Ticket distribution method.
For Tickets purchased between start of sales until seat assignment, Milano Cortina 2026 will notify the Purchaser of their assigned seats or areas according to the Ticket category selected after seat assignment, which Milano Cortina 2026 anticipates will happen between October and December 2025 (such timeframe being subject to change as necessary, at Milano Cortina 2026’s discretion). Tickets purchased during the real time phase (after seat assignment) will be distributed immediately with seat location (Tickets purchased in different orders will not be adjacent). Ticket Holders are informed that for reasons of security or fraud and in order to combat the illicit resale of Tickets, the final Tickets with QR Code to access the Venue will be issued shortly before the relevant Sessions.
Milano Cortina 2026 will make its best effort but is not obliged to ensure wherever possible, that all seats for Tickets purchased for multiple Ticket Holders within one ticket purchase transaction for a single given Session are adjacent. The Purchaser is informed that the seats as allocated may be on either side of an aisle, in front of or behind one another. For the avoidance of doubt, Milano Cortina 2026 does not guarantee the proximity of any seats.
Milano Cortina 2026 will make its best effort but is not obliged to ensure wherever possible, that seats for a Person accompanying a Ticket Holder with disabilities obtained in the same ticket purchase transaction for a single given Session are adjacent. In any case, any Person accompanying a Ticket Holder with disabilities must be valid Ticket Holders, for the concerned Session(s). It is reminded that in order to ensure that Tickets specifically for people with disabilities which may have specific seating locations or may have special pricing are not used by spectators who, upon request, are unable to provide proof of their disability, Milano Cortina 2026 reserves the right to request official written evidence or any other supporting documentation at the entry of any Venue. Should a Ticket Holder without a disability be found entering the venue with a Ticket for people with disability, they will be requested to pay the price of the Ticket in full and be relocated to an area for people without disability. It is therefore mandatory for Ticket Holders with disabilities using a special ticket for a spectator with a disability to be in possession of documentation in Italian or English language (as issued by the authorities of their own country of residence), attesting their eligibility. Milano Cortina 2026 has the right to refuse entry to a Ticket Holder using a ticket for people with disabilities should there be no official proof of eligibility.
Milano Cortina 2026 reserves the right at its sole discretion to exchange any allocated seat for a comparable (in Milano Cortina 2026’s reasonable discretion) seat, should it be necessary for the smooth running of the Sessions, for Venue layout or for security reasons.
3.9 No right to withdrawal from the purchase
It should be noted that the right of withdrawal does not apply to orders of Tickets or Packs in accordance with Article 59, para. 1 of the Italian Consumer Code (i.e. Legislative Decree no. 206 of September 6, 2005), which states that: “The right of withdrawal […] may not be exercised for contracts covering […] accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, goods transportation services, vehicle hire, catering services or leisure activities to be provided at a given date or during a given period.”
In accordance with the provisions of Article 59, para. 1 of the Italian Consumer Code, the Purchaser acknowledges having been informed that the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised pursuant to Article 59, para. 1 of the same code.
It is therefore specified that the payment card holder is not entitled to order cancellation by Milano Cortina 2026, and the Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. In the event of a dispute between the customer and their bank, Milano Cortina 2026 is not obligated to accept any compensation or refund request, unless for extraordinary reasons expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions.
3.10 Nominative Tickets - Ticket name change and transfer
In accordance with the Italian law, all Tickets for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games and Paralympic Winter Games are nominative, that is, each ticket must bear the name of the Ticket Holder. Milano Cortina 2026 reserves the right to refuse entry to the Venue if the user of the Ticket is not the same person as indicated on the Ticket / associated to the Ticket. Should entry be denied for this reason, Milano Cortina 2026 reserves the right to cancel the Ticket without reimbursement and resell the Ticket to another spectator.
